Information on Getting Tickets for Public Concerts
Question: How can I buy a ticket for the Messiah Concert?
Answer: We give two performances of the Messiah each year in the Town Hall – one for our Subscribers and one for the general public. Tickets for the Public Messiah performance go on sale to the general public via the Kirklees Box Office in the second week of October each year. This is after a priority booking period for singing members, Friends and Subscribers.
Question: How can I buy a ticket for the Christmas Concert?
Tickets can be purchased over the internet athttps://tickets.kirklees.gov.
Question: How can I buy a ticket for one of the Subscribers’ Concerts?
Answer: There are usually some returns from Subscribers who are unable to attend a particular concert. These are sold on a first come, first served basis (although Friends have priority) to anyone interested. Sales of these tickets are through the Subscribers’ Secretary (details below). Tickets can be posted before the concert (payment by cheque and enclosing an SAE) or collected on the night (payment by cash or cheque).
