Come and Sing: Vivaldi Gloria

What a great day!

82 Choir members, 30 singers from HCS Voices and 83 guests attended our Come & Sing: Vivaldi Gloria at Holy Trinity Church, Huddersfield on Saturday 25 March.

Afternoon rehearsals and an early evening concert were conducted by our inspirational Choral Director Gregory Batsleer, who gave an interesting introduction to this sparkling little choral masterpiece and ensured that, as well as being well rehearsed, good fun was had by all!

We were joined by two talented young soprano soloists from RNCM, Jessica Hopkins and Olivia Hamblyn, and the well-known Darius Battiwalla at the organ.

Lots of positive feedback from guests followed a friendly enjoyable day and we hope to welcome them back to our forthcoming performance of Beethoven MIssa Solemnis with the Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra at Huddersfield Town Hall on 26 May – tickets are available from the Kirklees Box Office.
