Friends of the Huddersfield Choral Society

Hi, my name is Jill and along with Mary we have been singing members of the Choral for over 20 years. When Helen Marshall stepped down from Friend’s secretary during the pandemic, we decided to jointly take over the role. 

We both have a passion for choral music and aim to build on the good work done by Helen and invigorate new life into “The Friends” experience and hope to encourage more people to enjoy live choral music. 

We have written to all the existing Friends on our data base introducing ourselves and inviting them to renew their membership. This provided a promising response from loyal Friends; however, we would like to increase the membership and for a small annual fee the benefits available are outlined below: 

• Priority booking for all Subscriber and Christmas concerts 
• Regular newsletter from HCS 
• Entry into a Prize Draw for2 balcony tickets for Messiah 
• Entry into a Prize draw for 2 guests to sit in the VIP box for the Christmas concert 
• Discounted recording of HCS CDs 

• Events for Friends to meet and socialise with fellow Friends
