What a wonderful first concert of the season! I hope you enjoyed it as much as my husband Bob and I did. What we particularly liked was the variety of the music performed – by the choir, the beautiful soprano, the harpist, piano, organ and the percussion soloist. A real treat and quite a different offer.

Next is the Christmas Concert on 10th December, which this year will be conducted by Ellie Slorach. Heralding the arrival of the festive season, it will be a treat for us all. Perhaps some of you heard Kantos Chamber Choir conducted by Ellie Slorach on Radio 4 recently, as part of a programme about the importance of water in times of climate crisis?

Our Messiah performances will be on 14th and 15th December; we hope that you and your friends will join us to enjoy the unique Huddersfield sound that we missed so much last year, so please let your friends and family know that the Choral is back!
