Ed Anderson Lord Lieutenant of West Yorkshire since 2018, Ed Anderson had a distinguished career in Local Government and latterly as Chief Executive of Leeds-Bradford Airport.
Huddersfield Choral Society has been at the forefront of the great English tradition of choral excellence for over 180 years and today continues to celebrate and renew large scale choral performance of new works as well as the classic repertoire. I have particularly happy memories of performing and recording Handel’s ‘Messiah' with the choir and it is wonderful to hear it in such robust good health under the guidance of two of the country's brightest young choral directors, Gregory Batsleer and Ellie Slorach. My fondest good wishes to 'The Choral' and long may it prosper! Lucky West Yorkshire folk to have this on your doorstep!
