Investec Joins Business Voice

Wealth Management firm Investec, based in Leeds, is the latest new member of HCS Business Voice.

The company is no stranger to the Choral, having been keen concert sponsors for many years, and also the Society’s investment advisors, helping us to manage our finances sustainably.

Regional Investment Director Simon Hook said “Investec is proud to support the Huddersfield Choral Society. As concert sponsors we have enjoyed bringing our clients to attend some of the wonderful events put on by the Choral. We are very much looking forward to a cautious re-opening of the UK economy so we can all enjoy the internationally renowned arts and culture available in the UK and in particular in Yorkshire.”

Investec is one of the UK’s leading wealth management companies, trusted with managing over £41 billion (as at March 2021) of their clients’ money. While the size of the business is impressive, Simon is a passionate believer in the personal touch. “Whatever personal goals and ambitions you have in life, knowing where you stand financially and knowing what this empowers you to achieve, is key to a life well-lived” he says. “We take great pride in our relationship based approach to Financial Planning and Investment Management, and our purpose to make a tangible and meaningful difference to you and your family. With an investment heritage dating back to 1827, we’re built for the long term, and have been entrusted by generations of our clients for nearly 200 years.”

Sponsorship Secretary Sir John Harman said “We are delighted that Investec have joined our Business Voice network. Like Simon, we are looking forward to a resumption of concert activity and to meeting old friends once again.”
